This article presents one of the possible ways of how to integrate external LMS and document management system as the central repository for LMS learning/knowledge objects hierarchy into fourth generation portal infrastructure. Enterprise portal solutions represent a serious suggestion in the area of the e-Learning environment integration with the universities information system resources. Document management system is one of the most important portal services and it obviously acts as the central repository of the various multimedia sources.
