Face stability of the tunnel in relation to the loading of the support is complex problem, which can be objectively solved on the basis of the 3D - computational models only. Results of these models, mentioned in this paper, enable to evaluate the optimal relation between the extent of the face stabilization and the magnitude of the support loading, they contribute to the determination of the effective parameters for the face anchoring.
