Contemporary sliding joint in the foundation structure
Original language description
This paper deals with structures on undermined areas which are affected by horizontal deformation. These deformations arise in the subsoil from the effect of undermining. Then significant shear stress can arise in the footing bottom. The first solution attempt was developed in the 80th of last century. Back then an asphalt belts with base layer was used to reducing of shear stress in the foundation. Today there are a lot of new materials which can be used for reducing shear stress in foundations. Thesematerials are tested in the laboratory and it is made an effort to innovate the original method from 80th.
