Aim of this paper is discussed the applicability of standardized data for determination of static carrying capacity of bolted joints of round timber. To determine the applicability of standardized materials, especially relations for the calculation of shear resistance of joints according to Johansen theory even for constructions of round timber, series of tests bolted joints of round timber and squared timber were made in the laboratory FAST VSB-TU Ostrava.
