    Application of the homo software at design of a primary tunnel lining

  • Original language description

    The primary tunnel lining is usually used to support the ground massive around underground works after excavation. It consists shotcrete, steel grid and arch steel frame (Bretex, Hebrex). The distance space between the arch steel frames is about 0,7 ? 1,5 m. A steel reinforcement ratio is not constant in the area of the lining cross section. This fact doesn?t satisfy the common design methods of steel reinforced concrete that presume constant steel reinforcement ratio. This is one of the reason for looking new approaches that take into account this fact. The article discusses the problem and submits a solution to the fact referred above. The design of primary tunnel linig engages the software HOMO which was developed in the Department of Geotechnical and Underground Engineering. This software is based on analytical theory of cooperative rings. It allows to calculate the deformational parameters of materialy heterogenous cross section of tunnel lining from steel elements and set up the
