Numerical and experimental models of the load of an object due to the effects of a flow field
Original language description
This paper describes a comparison of two different solutions to a standard problem in building aerodynamics, i.e. the load of a cube-shaped object exposed to the effects of an air flow field. Physical modelling takes place in the climatic wind tunnel ofthe Institute of Theoretic and Applied Mechanics AS CR in Telč and numerical modelling is solved using the Ansys Fluent software at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of VŠB ? Technical University of Ostrava.
