The paper deals with use of video apparatus for monitoring and evaluating the road traffic participants? behavior. It describes beginnings of evolution of video analysis of conflict situations in the Czech Republic and brings a new view on their classification. The paper also shows the procedure recommended for analysis of inappropriately designed building elements with use of the video analysis of conflict situations. It also presents concrete examples of conflict situations with a link to a website containing video records of various conflict situations.
