Original language description
Various kinds of fly ash are used in European countries mainly as admixtures to concrete and in the construction of embankments. Since the 1990s the use of fly ash in Czech Republic?s engineering structures, primarily in roadway embankments, has greatlyexpanded. In some years the amounts processed have in fact exceeded 100,000 tons annually (for instance, on the D11 Osičky - Hradec Králové motorway project in 2009). Utilization of fly ash in road construction in Czech republic is controlled by Technical Requirements (TP 93). In last years fly ash is used as a binder or their components that are used in soil treatment.
