Original language name
Využití sekundární metalurgie při výrobě těžkých kovářských ingotů
Original language description
Secondary metallurgy is a key part of processing of liquid steel where the desired quality is finished. With increasing requirements of customers it is necessary to achieve the purest steel as possible particularly in case of heavy forging ingots and heavy castings that are with regard to the occurrence of segregations chemically inhomogeneous ones. Very importent is the low concent of non-metallic inclusions and gases. The presented article describes the secondary metallurgy processes applied in the steelworks of the joint-stock company of Vítkovice Heavy Machinery, a.s., achieved parameters and the current development of secondary metallurgy.
