    This publication discusses selected problems that occur when using infrared radiometric long-wave system within the diagnostics of building envelopes and that have not been solved so far. This concerns the following problems: 1. Thermographic determination of surface temperature in the exterior during elimination of reflected radiation using a metal shield. 2. Thermographic determination of surface temperature and emissivity of glossy materials using the method of four points. 3. Thermographic determination of surface temperature and the effect of emissivity of glossy materials during elimination of reflected radiation using a metal shield.
