Comparison of the Results from Analysis of Linear Inhomogeneous and Nonlinear Half-Space in Foundation-Subsoil Interaction
Original language description
Solution of tasks of interaction of foundation and subsoil is more difficult by lesser accuracy of input data, which is associated with the description of the properties and behavior of foundation soil. Foundation soil is consisted of heterogeneous particles. The modulus of deformability of the modeled area of subsoil varies smoothly with increasing depth. It was solved by use of an inhomogeneous half-space. The other alternative, besides linear inhomogeneous half-space, is nonlinear analysis of the task. The results of both alternatives of solutions are compared. Values calculated by interaction models bases on FEM with 3D elements of subsoil were compared with values measured during the loading test.
