Use of digitalization of maps for the creation of ground plans
Original language description
Planning documentation is one of the fundamental coordination instruments for sustaina-ble development of the territory. The basis for the creation of a ground plan is topography in vector or raster form. The territory of the Czech Republic is topographically mapped in two ways - as the basic state map series and thematic state map series. For the purposes of zoning plans, cadastral maps, which fall between the basic map works, are paramount. The vector cadastral map database contains location information, ownership and data on the entry of the information. The raster base mostly consists of the cadastral map on a scale of 1: 2880, which is provided in the form of scanned maps of the stable cadastre. Gradual digitization of the Czech Republic brings benefits not only for the entry of infor-mation about the owner, but also the data on the form of the entry or the person who made the entry of the information. The actual records of buildings is an essential element for the urban development of the area. Extending the database facilitates the process of acquisition of the plan and flexible response to change in the area under the multi-year acquisition process.
