    Crack control in reinforced concrete liquid retaining structures

  • Original language description

    The paper deals with the calculation and assessment of the crack width and crack resistance of reinforced concrete tanks for liquids and containers according to Eurocode. Detailed analysis of the provisions of EN 1992-3 related to the calculation of cracks is made. The interpretation of code provisions used in IDEA StatiCa software is explained. Comparative calculations are executed for standard reinforced concrete and fiber concrete cross-sections. © 2017 Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
