Original language description

The article deals with risk assessment of the electricity production and transmission facilities. The introduction emphasizes the importance of these facilities in the area of critical infrastructure and the need for permanent assessment of all potentialrisks. The contribution mainstay is a proposal of a step algorithm for the electricity production and transmission facilities threats and risks objectification which consists of several successive steps continual-ly executed in three phases. The first phase is concentrated on the critical infrastructure elements categorization by cross-sectional criteria, the second one on determining the electricity production and transmission facilities risks and their prioritization and, within the third phase, thecritical infrastructure individual elements are sorted into appropriate levels of physical protection.
