The article deals with the possibility of the early warning and information, as one of the basic measures of civil protection, about real threat or an already existing emergency or crisis situation in the areas of buildings established for gathering of large numbers of the population. It also presents the alternative solution of warning and information in these areas. In the end of the article there are described significant factors that can negatively impact the optimal warning and information.
