Most discussed issue in the relation to mathematical fire models is the extent to which modelling results are valid. Verification and evaluation of fire models, their credibility, quality and usability, is clearly one of the most critical areas of research for safety engineers, CFD modellers and research organizations in the field of fire protection. This article deals with the validation of experimental tests carried out in a flashover container in Zbiroh in the Czech Republic.
