Original language description
The early detection of dangerous compounds releases in industrial sites is substantial for taking measures to prevent or mitigate the harmful consequences of such events. Monitoring systems based on wireless sensors network can provide information aboutposition and release rate of dangerous chemical compounds, which is of key importance for assuring effective emergency response. The concept of wireless sensor network based on Tunable Diode Laser Absorption spectroscopy is introduced and a wireless sensor unit is designed.
