Graphene Oxide (GO) and its Ability to Detect and Capture Bacteria and Viruses
Original language description
In recent years, the development of research into nanomaterials has increased the number of their variousapplications in almost all possible areas, from electrodes to membranes to sports equipment and clothing.Graphene, graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) are becoming more and more popularmainly due to their extraordinary properties and structure. This contribution summarises the possible use ofgraphene oxide to capture bacteria and viruses and other potential applications, especially with regard to theongoing coronavirus crisis.
