In this article are presented modern methods of robotic systems design with computer support. Presented are especially latest approaches integrated into CAD system Pro/Engineer, as are Behavioral Modeling and Top-Down design. Attention is farther dedicated to possibility of integration software means of CAD system Pro/Engineer and Pro/Mechanica with selected simulating and computational systems (Matlab-Simulink, Dymola, Working model 3D) towards complex mechatronic analysis and synthesis of the machinewith possibility of subsequent optimalization of mechanical, control and driving subsystem in environment of their mutual interaction.
