    The deformation of the fabric membrane under the pressure.

  • Original language description

    The production of the fabric bags for bulk materials is quickly developed area of the textile industry. The deformed shape of the plane cloth layer under normal pressure is mathematically described by the partial differential equation, but its solution is known only for simple area. The deformed shape of more complicated geometric configuration (3D) must be found via numerical calculations. After discretization the problem is formed into the system of algebraic equations. But the task is non-linear andthe solution brings a range of problems. In the paper the numerical solution for the circular area is compared with the exact solution in closed form. The approaches to handle the problem of nonlinearity are described. Finally the solution of the 3D taskis shown.
