The numerical study of contact pressure for substandard gearing

  • Original language description

For calculations and design of ordinary gearing, we usually employ the appropriate standards (DIN, ČSN, etc.). If we want to design a substandard gearing, e.g. HCR, we cannot apply any standardised calculation. Therefore we often refer the problem to themethod of computer modelling. Presenting a practice with numerical solutions of this de facto contact problem is subject of this paper.
