Original language description
To measure cutting force acting to the machine tool during machining it can be performed with technical difficulties. The paper deals with an indirect method based on acceleration measurements and evaluation of the dynamic compliance using impact excitation and recording a response in acceleration. The dynamic compliance H(j?) is a transfer function referring the acceleration of the not rotating tool to the force exited by impact hammer in two perpendicular directions.
