Contact shape optimization - Genetic and Semi-Analytical Methods
Original language description
In this paper there are discussed the ways of suitable numerical solution of contact shape optimization problem. The first part of paper is focused on local optimization by employing sensitivity analysis. The second part of paper is focused on methods ofglobal optimization sphere performed by genetic algoritm. The rest of the paper shows the numerical experiments on two plane structural problems. These experiments validate the efficiency of the semi-analytical method in local optimization and the ability of genetic algorithm in search the area of the global optimum.
