There are more often designed gears with bigger gear ratio and integer transverse contact ratio (εα ≥ 2) and overlap ratio (εβ ≥ 1) in automobile mechanical gearboxes. These gears are characterized by increased strength capacity.

V automobilových mechanických převodovkách se stále častěji navrhují soukolí vyšších převodových stupňů s celočíselným trváním záběru od evolventy ( ≥ 2) i od tvaru šikmých zubů ( ≥ 1). Tato ozubení se vyznačují zvýšenou únosností.
