Original language description
The average consumption of oxygen in metallurgical furnaces has increased. Metallurgical industry trends to more large-scale introduction of oxygen into the metallurgical furnaces by means of oxy-fuel burners. Several manufacturers offer suitable burners(injectors). It must be located in such a way that there is a much shorter distance for the jets to travel (between orifice of the burner and molten steel level)

Czech description
Průměrná spotřeba kyslíku v metalurgických pecích stoupá. Hutní průmysl má tendenci ve větší míře využívat kyslík v metalurgických pecích prostřednictvím palivokyslíkových hořáků. Vhodné hořáky (injektory) nabízí řada výrobců. Hořáky musí být umístěný takovým způsobem, aby mezi ústím hořáku a hladinou tekuté oceli byla krátká vzdálenost.
