The contrubution desccribes the possibilities of determination of the torques durein small section milling on 6-th and 7-th finisher. The first part dealswith the realized strain gauge measurement on two rolling mills of the small section production line. The measured coures of the torques will consequently serve to judge the usabibity of the driving mechanism of both rolling mills.
