Original language description
Paper deals with present state in the development of wireless smart sensor networks ? (nodes), trends and new challenges from this interesting area. This contribution is dealing with a hardware and software innovation of the laboratory from Department ofControl Systems and Instrumentation and its virtual presentation on the web. The overall goal of this project is to expand and complete range of hardware equipment for SCADA/MMI systems. Individual measuring workplace was expanded with I/O modules for fast and slow tasks. Data collection and monitoring assignments with use of Control Web 5 were updated for measuring characteristics of actuators and sensors. Hardware innovation opens more possibilities for Control Web 5 applications allowing configuration and monitoring real-time tasks (animation, communication and application performance). Users of the laboratory can get an overall summary presented via a multimedia content with elements of interactivity.
