Transmission error and its importance to gearing quality estimation in terms of noise and vibration
Original language description
This paper deals with a transmission error which is a meaningful factor for a ranking of gearing quality especially in terms of noise and vibration. A transmission error is given by deviations from uniform rotation of a pair of gears. A paper describes one example of a transmission error measuring of the constant gear of a car gearbox. This constant gear had two different type of a pinion gearing modification
