In this paper example of mathematical modelling of mixture coal ignition using plasma jet is presented. Example was solved by discrete phase model for combustion coal particles, in witch chemical reactions were defined. Turbulent model, heat transfer model and radiation model were used for computation. Model was solved by finite volume method.
