The monograph describes the philosophy and basic aspects which must be addressed if we want to fully integrate renewable energy sources into energy systems, energy mix. Its aim was to systematically elaborate the summary and the interrelations of arguments, properties and indicators that are important in assessing the efficiency of renewable resources. The book is directed from the list of common arguments for the use of renewable resources to more detailed analysis of energy generating plants, while atthe conclusion attention is paid to stochastic renewable sources and their use for electricity generation.
