Interrupted Cutting Tool Tests of Ceramic Cutting Tools
Original language description
The tests reporting about working conditions are in a practice used by producers and users. The overwhelming percentage of tests of machine tools is focused on interrupted cut (turning). Reliability test (by turning to interrupted cutting) has been proposed in the grant project GAČR, which is done on a special preparation ? interrupted cut simulator. Two types of ceramic cutting tools from the WIDIA company were tested on the slats 12 050 (C45) material and 15 128 (13MoCrV6) material in this article. The number of shocks (to the edge destruction) was a criterion or when the ceramic cutting tool achieved the limit of shock ? 6.000th, which was based on experience of resolvers.
