Original language description
The contribution deals with the simulation of stress-strain response of the steel ST52 in the cyclic plasticity domain. The deformations in realized tests were measured using axial extensometer and by the digital image correlation method. The phenomenonof ratcheting (or cyclic creep) was experimentally studied under proportional and nonproportional loading. The results obtained by simulations performed with the Chaboche model show very good ability to predict the accumulated plastic strain.
