Engineering Methods of PID Controller Tuning

  • Original language description

The paper is devoted to the standard analog and digital PI and PID controller tuning for the proportional plants with inertia and time delay. First the simple conversions of the transfer functions are described and than the controller tuning by the desired model method is shown. The given controller tuning method ensure the monotone step responses without overshoots for all input variables. The described approaches are simple and suitable for engineering practice.
