Dynamics behaviour of the cavitation field
Original language description
The article deals with the dynamic behavior of cavitation and testing of cavitation models that Fluent software ANSYS 13.0 offers. The cavitation field was studied in the Laval nozzle narrowing. The modeled fluid was defined as a mixture of water and vapor. For comparison the experimental methods and mathematical modeling are used. An important result of the experimental measurements has been observing of the dynamic behavior of cavitation area, changing its shape and size in time and showing periodic oscillations. For this reason the fast Fourier transformation (FFT) in tested variants was performed. Boundary conditions were chosen according to experimental measurements, which was implemented in the workplace VSB - Technical University of Ostrava.
