Carbonaceous nanoparticles prepared with help of silicate substrate and metal catalysts
Original language description
Two preparation routes, for clay-carbonaceous particles were investigated. The layered structure of the clay mineral, vermiculite, served as a shape-template for carbon formation through an intercalation/ grafting processes of organic matter. A dry approach led to particles with a fine pulp-like character, while a wet approach yielded particles which formed by copying the layers surface (template). Morphological properties will designate the application of the fillers.
