    Simulation Analysis of the Synchronization of the Hydraulic Actuators

  • Original language description

    The paper is focused on the synchronization of two or more hydraulic actuators that consist of the hydraulic differential cylinder and control valve ? servo valve or proportional valve. Each actuator has position feedback. Let we assume that the application needs a common very accurate motion of at least two cylinders. It can happen very often that different load forces work on the piston rods of each cylinder. To achieve the synchronized motion of the actuators additional control of the positions mustbe used ? the synchronization controller and additional command value or values must be introduced. Different control strategies for the synchronization are described in the paper. The application of the synchronization algorithms is shown using the simulations of two valve controlled hydraulic cylinders.
