Max-Plus Linear Systems at Bus Line Synchronization
Original language description
In this paper we use max-plus recurrence equations with an irreducible and regular matrix of finite size. That is associated to a model of public transport. This model focuses on computing bus line timetables and on synchronization of departures from some interchange stops at bus transportation network. We show how it is possible to minimize the waiting time for passengers who change bus lines by solution of the eigenproblem. Initial experiments with Prostějov instances of problems are presented using open source software Scilab.
