In the last years, indentation test has been widely used to determine the mechanical properties or parameters of various materials. The goal of this paper is to identify material constants for inelastic deformation laws using experimental data and finiteelement simulation. The testing specimen was modeled as having isotropic elastic-plastic behavior using Chaboche model. Values of parameters of this model were calculated using inverse algorithm.
