Original language description
This paper describes the project work and engineering done on the marine automation control system and its integration with energy and safety control systems. The significance of integrating process control systems with automation control systems into one integrated control and safety system is described. The project work is based on state-of-the art technology and corresponding standards, the engineering part of the work is analysing data from a safety control system, which is integrated to the marinetechnology control. The conclusions summarize the project and engineering experience and knowledge and lead to the recommendations for the design of the operator workstations.
