2DOF Controllers Tuning
Original language description
Recently controllers with two degrees of freedom are more often available. These controllers enable to tune of the controller both from point of view of the desired variable and the disturbance variable as well. It allows increase the overall quality ofcontrol. For the tuning of the controller with two degrees of freedom to date there are few suitable methods. This paper is devoted to the tuning of the PI and PID controllers with two degrees of freedom by the multiple dominant pole method for first order plants with a time delay and integrating plants with a time delay. It is an analytical method and it is shown that by the corresponding tuning of the controllers with two degrees of freedom it is possible to obtain the non-oscillatory servo and regulatory step responses without overshoots. The fundamentals cases that are used are demonstrated in the examples.
