    Assignment of Vehicles to Transport Routes under Uncertainty

  • Original language description

    Vehicle assignment problem belongs to one of many problems that are often dealt with in connection with management of public transport nets. The main problem is to decide about how to assign transport means to defined transport routes. A mathematical model that was designated to solve the problem was developed in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic in the past. The basic model denoted as PRIVOL was created by Professor Jan Černý and exists in many modifications in the present time. Our article deals with some modifications of the PRIVOL model in conditions of input data uncertainty. The most uncertain piece of input data is usually information about transport demand on individual route sections of the transport net. Uncertainty of input data will be modelled by fuzzy numbers in the presented model.
