Original language description
This contribution deals with effects on basic material mechanical properties of Inconel 718 after drilling by a laser beam with focus on influence and size of a remelted material layer. The remelted layer occurs as an unwanted accompanying phenomenon during laser machining. The article studies questions of laser beam effects on machined material and qualitative aspects and processing parameters of a selected laser technology in detail. The experimental part of the work is focused on determination of laser drilling influence on mechanical properties of the material by single axis tension static examination under a room temperature (23oC). The experimental results point to specific relationships of Inconel 718 mechanical properties on a created remelted layer of material, whose form is directly related to use machining parameters.
