This article discusses about new mercury emission limits that will be valid from 2021. Nowadays, problematics of mercury emission and the current value of mercury emission s from large combustion plants in the Czech Republic are unknown. Therefore, here are the forms of mercury, their formation during the coal comubustion and the measures for mercury reduction. There si also a methodoogy for measurement of mercury emissions.
