Original language description
In this article, a hot extruded (EX) AZ31 magnesium alloys with a lithium content of 7.5 wt.% and 15 wt.% were subjected to severe plastic deformation using Equal Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP) at 250 oC. In order to investigate changes in the structure and substructure, light microscopy and scanning microscopy were used. The influence of severe plastic deformation was determined by hardness measurement using the Vickers method. The results were compared with typical hot extruded alloy AZ31.
