Interaction between human and AI systems - When automated systems move towards autonomous
Original language description
This paper is inspired by our work on a diploma thesis focused on monitoring the performance of process control assets. Over the years, what makes an organization successful has been a frequently asked question. It is possible to improve its processes, those routines that consists of a set of controlled actions to accomplish a specific goal, depending on individual projects, but it is important to support sustainable principles as they align the organizational activities with clearly defined goals and benchmarks. Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is defined as a measurable value that demonstrates how effectively a process is running and reaching its targets. We would like to demonstrate with an example from industry, on how the methods of process measurements can change depending on the availability of complete, correct and consistent data, enabling training AI algorithms and supporting the idea of creating an augmented expert.
