This article deals with an osteosynthesis of the 5th metatarsal fracture using a headless (Herbert) screw. The stress-strain analysis of the headless screw and bone is based on the stochastic approach based on the Monte Carlo method. This method determines the probability of the screw thread being torn off in the bone.
