    The article deals with the vibration analysis of the railway wheel sample during the fatigue test cycle. The aim of the experiment is to determine the dependence of the vibration spectrum on the change of the rolling surface geometry of the railway wheel during the loading cycle. The results of the experiment for one typeof material used in the production process of the railway wheels are presented in the text. The results also include the effect of releasing the test component on the vibration spectrum development over time.
