The Operator Roles in Industrial Automation : Process Automation since Distributed Control Systems Got Virtualized
Original language description
The paper focuses on the challenges faced by the operators of the production systems in the times of the virtualization. It describes the known concepts for modelling and visualization of production processes and emphasizes an overview of the area of supervisory control operator working with virtualized environments. Furthermore, it mentions ways, how the methods for configuration of a distribution control system has changed and describes the main changes on an example of a system virtualized architecture. This contribution also shows the expectations and requirements for skills and knowledge of the future generation and the importance of education applied in engineering of the distributed control systems on virtualized platforms.
