Original language description
This article deals with the real time deviations of arriving and departing airplanes from the planned times. The punctuality of the air transport process is, along with price and convenience, one of the most important criteria required by passengers. Weekly traffic at three international airports of different busyness was investigated. These were airports in Prague, Atlanta and Lome. Data was collected daily and was obtained from the publicly available flight database Flightradar24.com. In addition to the intensity of traffic, the research was also focused on the intensity of aircraft movements of three weight categories (light, medium and heavy). The research is related to the topic of the dissertation Evaluation of the Quality of Services Provided by Air Carriers.
