Simulation of energy saving testing of rotary hydraulic motors for different speeds

  • Original language description

This article deals with the creation of a mathematical model for energy-saving tests of rotary hydraulic motors for different speeds. The main test circuit consists of an electric motor with a continuous shaft, a regulating hydraulic pump, and a tested non-variable displacement rotary hydraulic motor. By a suitable hydraulic connection of the variable displacement hydraulic pump with the hydraulic motor and a mechanical connection via a continuous shaft of the electric motor, the power circulation takes place in the test system. Circulation of power, both pressure, and mechanical energy creates significant energy savings during the test. One type of rotary hydraulic motor at different speeds was measured on an already functional device. The mathematical model was built to better identify the hydraulic circuit and modernize the equipment. The mathematical model was created using Matlab SimScape Fluids software. The results of the mathematical simulation were compared with the measurements. (C) 2023 Author(s).
